Club Annual FUN DAY

I know a lot of you enjoy and look forward to our ANNUAL FUN DAY. In the past everyone attending has had a good time.  Sadly to say, we have lost our FUN DAY COORDINATOR for this year. Unless someone steps up and offers to chair this activity we will not be having a Fun Day this year.

To those of you who may not realize, The Texas Gulf Coast Vizsla Club functions with only a handful of workers.  This club was established in 1980. There are still a few founding members left, but we are getting old and tired.  Luckily, your club has picked up a few Vizsla loving, dedicated workers along the way.  For the past several years, our club meeting program directors have done an excellent job supplying our meetings with interesting speakers.  It pains me to see how few members attend these interesting meetings. 

Being part of the group of founding members of this club, my wife and I along with many others have dedicated a lot of time and money to get this club where it is today. This is an excellent club and our members represent it well at the VCA national events. However at the current rate of membership participation, I can see the end of The Texas Gulf Coast Vizsla Club‘s existence in just a few years.  It pains my wife and I to see the hard work and devotion that club members have donated toward the Vizsla Breed go to waste.

Work to keep the club going is not hard.  It just takes a little time, organization and timing to get the job done.  Some jobs involve just being there to help out.  While doing club functions, we have a good time and meet interesting people along the way. We also learn new things.  In this club there is still a lot of experience for guidance should you decide to help out.

This is your club and the dog breed of your choice. Your club is in desperate need of new workers to help keep it a viable organization.  We have a lot of Vizsla owner but very few workers.   If you have a little time to donate to your Vizsla Club, please get involved and help us keep this club going.
